International orders could be subject to import taxes, custom duties and fees once the shipment arrives at its destination. The recipient may be responsible for such charges, and the charge can vary from country to country.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders placed on regular business days before 1 p.m. CET (Central European Time) will begin processing on the same day with the exception of orders shipping to the UK.
Please note: UK orders will be shipped out on Wednesdays and Fridays.
For any order placed on holidays, Saturday or Sunday, processing will begin on the next business day.
SALES TAX
Local taxes, if applicable, will be added to your order as required by law. Within the EU, prices displayed on the website are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). If you are shipping to any region outside of the US or EU, applicable duties will be charged at checkout.
TIME OF DELIVERY
Items that are currently in stock will be shipped immediately. Orders placed before 1pm CET Monday – Friday will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1pm CET will be shipped the following business day. Shipping times will vary based on shipping destination but will range from 2-15 business days. Pre-orders will ship as soon as inventory becomes available. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot deliver to Post Office boxes or Military addresses such as APO/FPO.
All orders require a signature upon delivery.
RETURN POLICY
Returns for exchange or merchandise credit only within 14 days of date of delivery, no refunds. If the content of the order is incorrect or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. Books must have original protective packaging intact and be returned to initial place of purchase. All non-book merchandise including vintage books, objects, gallery items, stationery, and candles are considered final sale.
Assouline reserves the right to modify its exchange and return policy.
CANDLES RETURN POLICY
All sales are final:
Due to the nature of our products, all candle sales are final.
Damages:
We offer a refund on items that may have been damaged in transit. If your candle arrives damaged, please contact Customer Care within 14 days of receiving your order with a photo of the damaged item. Candle must be in its original packaging, unused, and accompanied by an original receipt. We will not honor refunds for reasons other than damage incurred during shipping. Assouline reserves the right to reject any refunds that do not comply with the conditions stated above. Items that appear used or worn upon inspection will not be eligible for refunds.
