About Yaffa Assouline

Yaffa Assouline is a journalist, consultant, and creative art director whose career has redefined luxury storytelling across platforms. Known for her visionary approach to bespoke publishing, she specializes in crafting experiences that merge visual sophistication with cultural depth. Yaffa Assouline has collaborated with global institutions and cultural authorities, including the Qatar Museums Authority, where she served as creative art director and senior adviser. In that role, she oversaw the launch of the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, designed by architect I. M. Pei—a subject she later explored in her book MIA: I. M. Pei, featuring photography by Keiichi Tahara. Her publications capture not just the aesthetics of luxury, but also the intellectual and historical narratives that elevate it.
