Julie Belcove is a well-regarded writer who has covered the art world for over twenty-five years. Her work has appeared regularly in The New Yorker, The New York Times, the Financial Times, WSJ, Harper’s Bazaar, and Architectural Digest, as well as in artist catalogs for Eric Fischl and Sue Williams, among others. During a long tenure as deputy editor of W magazine, she conceived and edited its annual Art Issue. She lives with her two daughters in New York City, where she is the features director of Robb Report. Her previous books for Assouline include Living with Chamberlain and Pop Art Style.
