About the Author
World renowned mixologist and spirits historian Brian Van Flandern has earned a reputation for creating innovative libations using fresh and exotic ingredients. Formerly ranked the number two mixologist in the world, Brian has been called America’s Top Mixologist by the Food Network. He has created cocktail programs for The Carlyle and The Plaza hotels in New York City. Additionally, he has developed recipes for famed chefs Thomas Keller, Mario Batali, and Geoffrey Zakarian. Brian is the president of Creative Cocktail Consultants, a global beverage consulting rm, and is currently the consulting mixologist for Seabourn Ultra Luxury cruise lines.

Rande Gerber has been a leading impresario of the bar and nightlife industry for over twenty years, with a portfolio consisting of bars and lounges world wide, from New York to Los Angeles to Santiago. In 2013, Gerber launched Casamigos Tequila in partnership with George Clooney and Mike Meldman, a collaboration that has quickly be- come the fastest-growing ultrapremium tequila in the world.

After nishing school, Harald Gottschalk became assistant to the renowned Robert Doisneau and began ful lling his childhood dream to become a photographer. Gottschalk has had more than sixty solo and collective exhibitions in France and abroad. Parallel to his personal work, Gottschalk collaborates on many prestigious projects and publications with international brands.
